Call me crazy

This could be dangerous. First day out and I've blogged three times! I spend a lot of time alone because of Christopher's job schedule. (Kidnappers and other creepsters do not take that as an invitation. I have a small dog with a lot of teeth. And now I guess I'll be getting some pepper spray.) In general, I talk a lot. I talk to Stogie (my dog) a lot but that's not quite the same as a person. Now that I have a new way of communicating with people while spending all that time alone I'm afraid I will be posting a lot! Did that make sense? Alone time + new blog = a lot of posts. (For those keeping track I used the phrase "a lot" five times and I did it on purpose.) Cross my heart this is my last post this evening.

i'm SO excited!!! i'll probably comment more later, or maybe even post something of my own, but i just wanted to say i'm REALLY excited that you started a blog. i've been thinking of you a lot lately and now i can know everything!!! or at least what you want to write on the internet, which for me is usually only a few select things. here are some questions i have:
1. is that a haircut?! let me see!!!
2. pictures of the dog!!!
3. i love your site name. i guess that's not a question.

i have to go to work now but i'm really excited!!!

love, - deirdre

This is pretty much the best day of my life. I am seriously, sitting here giddy and excited because my dear old friend Sarah has a blog...it is a glorious day.
Now I don't have to wonder what is happening in your life, I can read all about it and feel like we are actualy communicating! (not a strong suit for me either, can you tell??)
Here is my piece of blog advice for you:
1. Don't let yourself think too much about what your readers will think- just write what you are thinking and feeling and then we will know the real you. (for so long I would stress about whether this or that would be a dumb post, but let it go. It is much better that way!

2. Leave comments and you will get comments. I have found that when I slack on leaving other people comments, I also have none and it sucks.
So there you go- your second comment and it is a novel- I should have broken it into 2 novels so it would look like an additional comment. :)
Can you tell that I am a little excited you're here??

YIPPEE! Sarah has a blog! Well I myself have become somewhat of a blog stocker with my weird sleep schedule and inability to spend time with my husband b/c of my job ( I know you can relate). Well anyways I look forward to reading about your "new beginnings" and just these three short posts have confirmed that I must find a way to come visit in September b/c I miss my three sisters and my mommy #3!!!

WANTED Pictures of Stogie!

Love ya Sar!!!

PS. You've inspired me to chop off my hair! Any suggestions?

YAY!!!! I'm so glad you have a blog now. We totally and completely need to see one another again. It has been ENTIRELY too long and I feel guilty and ashamed...

LOVE the haircut - how long have you had it?

Can't wait to hear more about life at home with Stogie - need a picture.

I just want to see you. When can we meet? :) Love you guys!

You're blogging!!! YAY!!!! I'm SO excited!!! And I LOVE your hair! I was just thinking the other day that we don't keep in touch with you and Christ nearly enough and I'm so glad that we can do it this way now! (I'm terrible about the phone and email usually.... but blogs are a whole 'nother story!) I love all of your posts so far and can't wait to read more! And agree with the others... we must have a picture of Stogie! Welcome to the addiction that is blogging! Sending lots of love y'all's way!

i second the blog advice. mostly i write what sounds good to me, although sometimes when i'm really on a roll i'll see something, think "i should blog about that," and pretty much think up the entire post on the way to the computer.

also, it IS totally a haircut!!! it's adorable!!!

(i think it's really funny that one of your commentors spelled christopher as "christ." if that's actually not funny as i think it is, i apologize.)
